About Lake

Fishery has been re-develped over the past few years, the latest being our East, West, Pine & Ash Ponds. The Ponds are ideal for Match Fishing (for more information on our Ponds go to our PONDS link page by clicking the link at the top of our page – you will be able to print out a site map with peg numbers). Our other waters are extremely well established and all waters are set in rural landscaped surroundings. From experience and by reputation, our Anglers come back on a regular basis to enjoy the challenge of our Coarse Fishery.

Ponds

OAK & WILLOW POOLS

Large pools, stocked with a mixed variety of species including Carp, Bream & Tench. 401b + mixed net weight caught on Oak. Available for day ticket & matches.

HAWTHORNE CANAL

Mixed 15 peg match water. Plenty of Carp, Roach, Bream, Tench, Orfe, Chub & Perch.

EAST LODGE CANAL

East Lodge offers 19 pegs of match water, stocked mainly with F1 Hybrid along with Roach, Crucian Carp, Chub & Perch.

WEST LODGE CANAL

West Lodge match water has 18 pegs & is stocked with Mirror Carp, Ghosties, Common Carp, Crucian, Chub, Bream (skimmers), Roach & Perch.

Fantastic fisherie... Always catch decent carp there... never blank... the trio's are my favorite spot to fish but all ponds are well stocked... I even caught a record Dace that was featured in the Angling times from Blundells... and the owners are lovely people... can't fault it.

Friendly owner good place to fish never leave your rod alone good stock of fishonly thing let's it down is to many fishing matches on with some off the match men having a attitude . And fisherman not taking there litter home and line I picked some up for the owners and told them some have no respect.

Ended up going to Blundells after being messed around at Partridge lakes, we found Blundells on Google and luckily they had some pegs spare and we've now found a fishery we'll be going to before any others. It's in a nice setting and is well stocked.
